Maison Ikkoku x Kampong Glam

Since it was my day off from work and that I always had the idea of "exploring" the supposed-considered-Kampong Glam area (Haji Lane, Arab St. etc), I decided to visit the new cafe around the area, Maison Ikkoku.

Located at Kandahar Street

“ Maison means “play” or “house” while Ikkoku means “this moment”. Put them together and you get “House of the Moment”."

MI Latte which contain double shot espresso instead of the usual one. Seems more milky than the usual. I like it tasted sweet and I have to add only abit of sugar.

Enjoying my Thursday afternoon w the magazines but left aftter awhile cause I heard that they are gonna shoot the cafe. So I better siam haha. Shall go visit it again, their level 2 & 3

Shopping day! Spent the whole day in town w sis for some shopping which I haven't been doing so during this holidays. H&M Sgp was quite a disappointment I can say? Hk's H&M is way freaking awesome with lotsa good stuff! And it's freaking long queue in the fitting room but thankfully for the 30 days exchange policy (: Was trying t spend as little money as possible the whole day haha.

HK trip, 12-15th Sep. My first ever overseas trip (minus sec sch Malaysia camp). It was indeed a great first time! Shopping, eating, walking all around, getting lost- Carefree, troublefree, not having to worry abt what is the time. Awesomez.

So in the evening after dinner, head out to airport to send Dabao off from the airport back to his hometown. He's really a nice person like he will help everyone around. (: Chitchatting before he checked in abt 10. And now, I got a v different view of the airport cause before I traveled, airport seems like a place to eat, airplanes... But noww, airport is totally somewhere I wish to be with my luggages to travel out the another part of the world no matter how near or how far. I really cant wait for another overseas trip again, soon.

Accidentally dropped my phone yesterday on the floor while putting it on top of the hand dryer, the time and date reset-ed and I adjusted back. This morning, my alarm didn't rang and as I woke up, see the bright sun, look at my phone time, it reads 20:15.

GG. I was suppose to be at work by 8AM. "20:15". This means that I set my time wrongly yesterday when I'm suppose to put it as 24hours time. That's the reason why my alarm didn't ring!! argh. No sms, no missed call, I thought R overslept too and this meant nobody's doing the opening. GG x2

Thought of cabbing down but over the biggest heartache I got yesterday night, I think twice. Cab down = $9. 1 hour pay=$6. If I cabbed down means I need t fork out 3 extra bucks to earn that 6 bucks. Totally not worth it. So, BUS to the rescue but den the longest wait ever. When I reach there at 9 plus, everything was in place and R was there just that phone not there. Pheww. Other than that, everything was fine for the rest of the day.

Paradise Inn @ Nex for dinner with mum, my off day. The food, sadly to say, is just okay. Prolly is just me, or prolly the choice of item we chose. Off today, specially got this day off cause mum got this day off too. Since Sat they want me t work so just request for today lor. Toastbox for toast and eggs and Teh. I wanted kaya toast but the person gave peanut one instead D:

Then 3 plus headed to Chilli Padi Nonya Buffet @ Bugis area for Hi tea buffet! I keep wanting to go here w my mum but time also clash so finallyyy. My treat for mum's belated mother day gift haha.

The varieties was okay based on the price we paid for it. Their laksa was really really good. But no ingredient for it except dao gey and yu bing. So great if there were prawn...

B&J had this game I found via FB and we played to get free scoops of ice cream this Monday-Friday. We played till we had 20 free scoops but we collected like 5 each haha. Luckily didnt collect all 10 cause it's like a big scoop! Ate like 2 there each and the rest brought home, stacked up the fridge till my mum got pretty surprise and even took 1 to eat. The free scoop is in conjunction w the new flavour ice cream peanut and caramel (I think). Not bad but not v awesome (: My third week break, poof like that. I think it's 11 more days before my next break and it's classroom sessions omg cant wait to see everybody CCM and especially catch up w the girls! Cant wait (:

Decided to update this space if I have something to blog about during my off days while having internship. Or else this space is gonna be dead.

Headed down to my house nearby 'bistro' (cause i think it isnt one but they named it as) for lunch and did my ejournal. Then asked my mum down after her work to treat her to some coffee at the cafe next to the bistro. Sat there and chatted while enjoying our latte and Cappuccino and hotdog bun which taste pretty good (:

In evening around 8.30, met with jerlin and kaixin for some catching up session before kx left for korea. We are all broke so had to settle @ toastbox. Stayed all the way till 1030 when the shop was about to close LOL.

Awesome off day till I dont wanna go back to work tomorrow!

Friday night was spent with Melissa, Desmond and Jerlin @ CQM Saizeriya for dinner. Lots of catching up. Gonna miss all the gatherings for the next 5 months D:

As for now, 12.35am on 20 March, 21 March is gonna be the start of my 5 months internship. Was quite worried about it a few time days before, but now Im kinda looking forward to it. Must keep in mind to have more confidence, courage and have the 'just do it' mindset w no fear of getting scolded like what my instructor told me- Do wrongly at most just get scolded. It's only scolding. Yes, I agree. "What doesn't kill us only make us stronger."

Hopefully I will have all the fun working w the company at the 5 different outlets, meet all the nice people and most importantly learn many many things.

I guess this space will not be updated probably for the next 5 months, or only when I have the time bc f&b industry working hours is all over in case you didnt know.

3rd time back to school within this 2 weeks of short ttm holiday. This time round for food hygiene cert theory MCQ test. It's also the day of release for exam results for Sem 2.2. Seems like out for 4 times receiving results, 3 out of 4 times Ivy is with me! LOL. And first time ever I bother signing up for the sms thing. 1 distinction, 1 A, 3 B+ to sum up the semester. GPA pretty nice, but the accumulative GPA was quite a disappointment. It increase only a tiny bits with such a quite high GPA i gotten for this sem. D: Only 1 semester left to pull it high but it's kinda difficult. But im satisfied w this sem, best so far (:

Back to school on Saturday for Internship briefing in late morning before heading towards admiralty area to collect my dress for d&d. Luckily and coincidentally Eileen are heading to the same place and suhui gg nearby! So we headed there and had mac for lunch before we go separate way and just nice, again, Jerlin was heading to sembawang to collect stuff too! So meet her and ask her acc me to serangoon before we head to Nex's LENAS for dinner. I have always wanted to eat there and just nice she suggested there too. (:

Housepour Sauvignon Blanc. Pretty missed it after tasting all the china wines which is ewww and sake which is not my type.

Food's pretty good, but the dessert somehow was quite different from what was shown on the menu. Service was okay only cause we had to wait so so long before someone realised that we are ready for order. The also had like different people to take order and serve drinks plus clear plate, which I feel kinda confusing who to approach. Other than that ambiance pretty good. Gonna be back there, especially on a Monday cause that's why there free desserts and 1 for 1 pizza if I'm not wrong. Not like today, no promotion so it really cost us a bomb man!

Hi! I had my favourite prawn aglio, but not at Pastamania, it's Nex's Pizza Hut!

I finally visited Nex! It's has been opened quite a while but I seems to unable to find the time to go there even I have a straight bus from home cause of all the projects/tests/exam earlier this year and last Nov/dec. Too glad that it's over, and this sem I can totally see all the hardwork paid off from the results of the Projects and test. Awaiting for the final exam result, pray Hard. SO IT'S ONE DAY DOWN FOR THE HOLIDAY, 13 MORE DAYS To enjoy. Must Make full use of it! But kinda sad cause cant really spent it w the besties cause almost all having internship here/overseas. EXAM'S FINALLY OVER!!!

As named in this blog tittle, here calls the end of Year 2, provided no supp paper which I guess not very likely. haha. Can you smell the freedom? I can! No more late night sleep. Eye dark circle, lack of sleep and my face become redder over this exam days cause stress can cause that's what the physician says.

Accounting paper today and it freaks me out in the front! 1 hour and I only finished 15mcq plus the question2. Like there's still 4 long question. Then i chiong and phew, managed to finish it. Just too bad that my balance sheet didnt balance, but should be minus a few marks only (:

Went Ikea for lunch and celebrate freedom! And guess who we saw? Mr Sim, mr tan, mr chia and miss mark! Picture uploaded! Trust me, IPhone 4 camera super awesome- Clear ttm and almost like dslr! But... Pretty obvious for all the small details like pimple D: Awesome and crazy day spent w the girls!

And dinner, I went home telling my mum, trying my luck to see if she wanna go eat good food together and she agreed immediately. Oh yeah! So had frog leg (I never eat for almost 3 years) and sambal stingray. This 2 days are the best!

A short gathering w the clique before wk go for NS and a few of them flying off for internship/recreational purpose. So headed home after fbops paper, get ready and head out to Mac to do some accounting papers while waiting for them. And yes, I did have an accounting paper the next day but I agreed cause it's the last gathering and I have already so called prepare myself by doing many papers before hand (:

The place was alright, we had the $28.50 nett buffet which I feel was not worth it cause the variety like quite little and the service quite bad. One cannot understand english, never mind, somemore he talk until super pekchiek when we order or ask for something. wth. But it was pretty impressive cause Jerlin cant eat the things there cause all meat plus pre-made w onion and garlic, the chef (i suppose) specially cooked a dish for her F.O.C!

Year 2 has been quite tough yet I think it will be the best part of my poly life.

Finally submitted group work of wine proposal, f&b ops report, and f&b ops presentation all by today. Feeling great, and thinking back was really scary how these 2 projects, 2 only, making us sleep at 2-3am everyday, rushing it everyday. D: f&b ops is the most last min project every done, we were like still printing when our class for the presentation started. But the presentation was alright, good I think.

And had acc lecture for 7-9pm, then headed to bedok 85 with the girls for supper, reach home almost during midnight (:

Today has been a day that I have been quite looking forward for the past few days cause I wanted to bring my mum to Toptable to eat and show her around the culinary academy which I spent every weekday of semester 2.1 at and all the Thursday and Friday at.

Service was pretty not bad but I feel that my beef (the above pic) is not as good as the salmon mummy ordered which I like lor. Onion soup and Baked Cheese cake was good (:

I had huge craving for Bistro walk food cause it has been long since we went there. Cause our long hours break these few weeks are basically dining in at toptable for BESE, go sugarloaf/design, do projects. And yesterday is b/c i thought that it was closed cause the sign put closed. Finally we went there and they had like project week, much like toptable though.

Love the appetizer cause it's simple yet nice. Yogurt w fruit mixed, plus a prawn on the top. Main dish was okay, not quite appealing. Lastly is the dessert that is the Lemon meringue pie that the crust is nice but kinda weird on the top. Good food w awesome company although it;s only me, ivy suhui and eileen cause i also dk where the rest went to haha.

Sugarloaf after wine lecture, had this awesome meal w baked chicken wings and Banana Choco tart and drinks of the day. An awesome lunch for me, especially the chicken which was damn nice that I wish I had more than these 8 pieces!

Wine tasting, did on sake and Chinese wine which all sucks and the Chinese wine is too strong which I didnt even attempt to taste. Yuck!

Finally another hectic week is over! Here comes the weekend but half the today is already gone by the time I'm typing this post DD: A lazy sat.

TT the previous 2 days was alright. Cashier on Thurs which was quite fun and waitress on Fri which 1 of the table served was Desmond's table. Damn funny serving his table. But still kinda not confident enough to go and try pouring wine somehow for 2 other tables.

And had PP interview on wed and I kinda screwed up i guess. I read up on the restaurant but was spam w questions on hotel I have ever went to and what I know about the hotel.

I totally lost track of deadlines of projects. I think I did none project this week haha. Too lazy to continue this post , prob later (:

Totally no mood for today partly cause seriously I'm currently so troubled over to choose the kitchen side or the service side for my 5 months internship which need to be settle by valentine's day. I know there's such thing like half half that I can request but i still don't know HOW!?.

I don't know where I wanna go in the future except if possible own my own restaurant. And at first I was so so confirm that I wont want to be in the kitchen and just go for service side. But after yesterday "more to briefing than interview", I tempted to go for internship in the kitchen! Somemore in culinary and catering management should go in kitchen right? Service is like what I have done for pt jobs all that already.

Sigh. Pan Pac interview tomorrow for service. Wish me luck. Gonna sleep all the troubles away bye.

Poof, and this weekends is ending soon. So soon. Extra work to do for f&n ops and it took up some of my time which i planned for other stuffs to be done. Not complaining, okay maybe, but just a little very little.

This coming week is gonna be rather busy week for me. And I realize that I gotta be wearing formal from Monday to Friday. Mon and Wed- Internship interview, Tue- Dining task for BESE, Thurs and Fri-SSM. Good luck t me for the interview. Scared that no company wanna accept me D: Confidence! Confidence!

Do you find that when you use computer for almost the whole day and then cant fall asleep at night? I do. Always, as when I uses the com for too long. I hope it wont happen to me later cause it midnight 230 am and I'm still awake.

It's finally Friday! Guess like I haven't been online for the purpose of JUST surfing the net for the past 5 schooling days. The past 5 days feels like more a week, really. But it's good because it means to me that I might have done and completed alot of thing I guess. Summing up my week:

So yesterday and today, finally it's our group turn to run toptable. In case you didn't know, it's TP student-run fine dining restaurant. Last time to me, it's something I seriously doesn't want to go through cause it's fine dining. Most of the guest would have high expectation and it's so easily to screw things up. But yesterday doing stewarding was alright and today as waitress was okay, coordination among the station was good but some of the serving i did wasn't really well done. Most importantly, it wasn't as scary and difficult as I thought and I didn't really panic which I though I'll panic like hell. Feeling good about it (: But thinking back, I think bc our station has like very few guests and therefore we did quite a good job D:

And finally on wed, our class BESE symposium and presentation was over!! I think I did it much better than year 1 presentation having to look at the cue card all the time and this time I didn't do much of it. (Y).

The next best thing is that I finally got an interview from my first/second choice internship company next week! ((;

Feeling so damn tired from SSM yesterday and today. It's time to sleep till I feel like waking up! haha. No way, Still so much for me to do.

Goodbye 2010 and Hello 2010!!

Thinking back about 2010, I think it has been a year which past real fast and I think I havent done really much for the year.

Turn legally 18 in Oct- But haven't make use of such privilege much yet
Survived 600 hours of doing culinary practicum in the kitchen!! (1 of my proudest thing this year- 600 hours leh)
Got closer w secondary school friends, meet up much more times
Make lots friends, almost the whole course (:
Had my first ever try of Polaroid cam and having Polaroid pics (Love it)
Visiting bars, pubs and I kinda like it.
Start tasting wines from some parts of the world.
Quit my previous job which I have been working for 2 years
Getting a new job
Surviving a year without camera
Gotten my very own laptop
Haven't met love of my life yet, LOL

I guess this all sum up my 2010 which is pretty much not so happening. Welcome 2011~

I wanted to do a blog post about the previous 2 days but it's going to be 2am in the morning as i will love to call it. So tired, I head out ever since the afternoon, then off for work and now im here typing this away. Ah i wanna ranttt.

Suck bc need to rush out f&b ops advertsing and promotions. Seems easy to me but i cant seems to get started or even to say complete it by Friday noon. I have to get started. It;s like the easiest part and i must finish must finish. Thinking back to year 1.2 and 1.1, this 2 weeks term break is so much better. So i must be thankful? I just wanna go shopping, partying, hangout. Everything except schoolwork and work. But what revolving around me now- Yes, schoolwork and work. I must get back my life, my holiday life (:

Meet w the girls for Seoul Garden in the afternoon to so called celebrate Eileen and Riane birthday but it was kinda failed cause they spent their $ on the presents for them and I was really broke that I left less than 20 bucks in my account and many place doesn't accept net when i wanted to buy cakes for them D:

This time round we ate real lots of different grilled meat bc they were so nice that I didn't really discover the previous time we ate there! We stayed there from like 1 plus to 5 plus eating and chatting and joking, always damn entertaining and funny hanging out w these girls ah! (:

Oh ya, and when we passed them the prezzie, Riane expression when she unwrapped the wrapper she laugh out damn loud:

She like Micky from DBSK and we got her the Mickey pencil case w Onew toothpaste-like pen haha. Then Eileen expression was shocked cause we gave her a bottle and something else and the first thing she saw was "what the ****" or something like that on the top of the bottle. haha

We finally had a successful HCL gathering and I recommended a few place before we all decides on:

Ordered the value set- The Handburger Original: 120g NZ beef patty burger w ice lemon tea and fries. The fries look nice but like no taste. Need more salt but there wasn't any condiments around. But the beef was quite nice.

Great catch up with all of them and miss ong (: Looking forward to the next gathering!

Over @ WeeKit's Chalet weeks ago. Had fun catching up w friends over the night till 10 plus and we had to go bc it's a Wednesday, SSM the following day meaning waking up at 5.15. I look damn shag in the photo due to class starting early in the morning and my fringe is in total mess. Gotta do something to it soon. And i had to hide at the back cause we eat and eat and i accidentally stained the presentation shirt i wore. haha

This is a super duper belated post I'm blogging about cause I finally gotten the photos from @jerlinyjl only week agooo. But xie xie anyway (:

Bc I've a new hobby recently which is to read food blogs featuring good cafe/restaurant/food, I read up about this cafe w a rather cool name and about their fries which comes in different form and that most of the blogger did reviews about this cafe and it seems good.

So caught Child Eye, somemore in 3D because i usually dont watch horror movie in cinema (yea, scared) and guess what? This time I'm watching one, and In addition it's gonna be 3D where the ghost pop up in front of you okay. I was really damn nervous before the show started which i keep telling jerlin and she was so irritated haha. And yes, the ghost really pop up lor. After that we were lost and took quite a long time and we were finally hereeeee:

So for appetiser i had this 'one egg soup' which a alot people recommend to try cause it's pretty unique. Yes, and it's like egg w chicken+egg broth like that. Nice, somemore $3.90 only for this quite big bowl.

Then had salmon as my main. I love salmon. The Bearnaise sauce was really nice and i know it's like hard to make cause i did for culinary pract test and mine broke! Very hard to maintain the right temperature so it wouldn't break! The side were the salt and vinegar fries which i feel that the vinegar is too strongggg

The Hot banana butterscotch pudding with Ice cream. Super nice but Jerlin said it was okay only. Super nice but abit small?

Slightly disappointing bc it didn't really meet my expectation but the dessert is nice and soup was special. I wanna try awfully chocolate next!

About my previous post on visiting the dentist, thank god the pain was bearable. The dentist was good, but just that his English assent abit those hongkong-er, slightly hard to understand. Gotta be back in 2 weeks time for another checkup for my gum to see if there's improvement. So gonna start taking care now.

Havent been visiting any flea market for the longest time! Previously planned to go FLB 4 flea but in the end we couldn't find the shuttle bus, gave up and had pastamania instead. And since it's holiday now and i really need new clothes, shoes, ring and dont have enough money, i'm so gonna visit this flea tomorrow:

And it's last min that i manage to find bestie to go along w me (: Cant wait! Hope all the thing im looking for will be there at cheap price! Tomorrow will be a long day. I cant believe that I made this decision to go on m y accord w no one forcing me because ever since Primary school, I hate going dental in school. I hate the dentist. I hate the painfulness. But Today, I am going to see one, w the expense of spending 3/4 of my total assets i have currently haha. I cant believe this. Amazed. Hope no pain or rather less pain and let me meet a good dentist bc most of the dentist damn fierce and attitude... Anyway Pray hard. Just wanna get over it (:

So this is the menu we had for toptable when there is suppose to be an additional choice of soup for the starter and Sauteed prawn w saffron infused rice for the main but bc there were a big group after us, this is the only menu available for us.

So we decided to dine in at TT and we were lucky enough cause Zhixi managed to book a table when it's almost gonna be full for the whole week way before. Desmond and Zoe were serving our table! haha. And me and ivy they all talked to desmond while he was clearing and the instructor told desmond something like this "The girls all talks to you , means they are satisfied with your service that they will talk to you" haha (:

The chicken fricasse and Chicken Piccata which omg, can you believe that the chicken fricasse portion is the one at the right inside the tomato. OMG. So little x1232435657 which i though is almost half of the plate man! Totally disappointing for the chicken fricassee part. And the taste was okay, think i cook better the other time round at home (Y). But the Chicken Piccata was something new to me which i find it good, really. (:

And for dessert, it was okay. But we girls were amazed by the apple chips which is cool. It's baked, we guess, Naise.

Though it's only a short one, I cant wait. Cause I just figured out that the next long term break which was from Feb to April, I/We most probably cant have it bc of attachment which starts as early as March. I realize that i shouldn't go back to work b/c i will be working for the next b5-6 months for attachment. So Yeah. But this means no income and I'm trying to figure out how. Cant wait for holiday to cook party shopping and everything.

But my main priority now is to start studying for my accounting, my only paper (So awesomeeee) and start on resume. And we are dining in at toptable on tuesday. So luckily we got the booking cause there are too many people waiting to dine there.

So now, sauteed prawn or chicken fricassee for my main? (:

I remembered one of the day during year one where we head down to sugarloaf and were so fascinated w all the pretty desserts and service. And a year later, we were in the kitchen making these food. 1.5 year later, we were in sugarloaf serving. (:

This 2 days of sugarloaf has been pretty good for me. Sandwich counter on Thursday and Ice cream counter on Friday. Pretty much enjoy this 2 jobs than the previous week which waitress and hot counter makes me so tired right after SSM immediately. Guess so far ice cream counter is the most fun cos it scooping and scooping and scooping to make float! (:

This week is done. So far has been so relaxing after the food ops assignment which took up my life, really. 12 more days before my only test paper for accounting and then holiday till 2 jan. Cant wait!

Today has been a long day! Why a long day? School starts at 9 and end at 6, with 4 hours of lecture and tutorial straight which most people feels like being nagged at. I do. Plus that I'm starting to realise that I dont have enough time to complete my individual assignments that is gonna be due soon.

Thankfully that my that stupid swollen wisdom tooth gum became better. I seriously heard and see quite a number of people mentioning that their wisdom tooth starts growing. Ah, so irritating lor. Ma fan. Buts still, say Yay bc Bistro walk today for lunch with the not so bad prawn Aglio Olio but didnt satisfy my craving for the brownie plus honeycomb ice cream cause was rushing for project meeting.

It's a public holiday tomorrow. Many thing to be done that I'm gonna create a to do list but I managed to complete 2 of them immediately when I reached home just now. Time passes so fast and my "still got time la" habit is killing me. Indidvidual assignment due dates, group projects, class test, online quiz, Mid sem test, SSM Operation starting.... Gotta fight them all and get over as much as possible.

Brownie w honeycomb Ice Cream for you?

I swear this is my greatest craving right now. It's from Bistro Walk which I had it weeks ago during one of the 3hours break. But right now, I cant even chew rice. FML. Cause of the wisdom tooth growing that cause the gum to swell. This is so so bad cause I got many food reviews to do for my assignment and I need to eat you know!

Feel slightly unluckily cause I was having my cough was lasted for weeks (VERY LONG LA) and just when i recover for like two weeks, this problem came up. Just gotta pray hard that it will recover with the next few days.

Finally it's the weekends- Meeting w the clique! However, our plan back to Timbre for the awesome pizza and drink failed bc of the rain that we had to change venue. The indoor was full but the outdoor was so so good but not sheltered. So we went to Brewerkz instead for pizza and very little drink only bc everything there were like much ex. But the ambiance was like real pub/bar and we had awesome night catching up (:

Yes Yes. There lots of things today. Shisedo makeup workshop in the morning for 3 hours, Business wear Photoshoot, Crase analysis thingy, BESE submission and accounting make up lecture. The shisedo make up part was good, gonna save some money to buy make up products. And I learnt that there isnt a need for single eyelid to draw eyeliner and instead should invest on Mascara. But somehow i still feel that Can leh.

Okay, going to be 11PM and i still havent start on reading through the thick stack of positions task for SSM on tomorrow and fri. Time to gooooo

Went for work in the early morning before i head home and out to meet with Melissa and Jerlin and settled @ The Pizza Place at Raffles for super late lunch. Was planning to go the other "The Flying Pizza" or some name related (I forgot) but the price was super ex. So Mel and I had the pizza w Beef and Cheese and it's super nice! Haha. But the most ridiculous part was that when we ask for ice water, the woman told us they don't serve ice water. It's like just a cup and Tap water only! But the food was nice enough to compensate for it. (:

At 6 plus, headed to meet Kaixin, Mei En and Xin Hui for dinner. Steamboat! Have been craving for it for long. The last I had was probably more than half year ago. Tonight was suppose to be a HCL Gathering but end up more than half cannot make it :(

Wasnt sure which steamboat place the settled in since there were so many @ Bugis Area but we went House of steamboat at last! Ate for nearly 3 hours till about 10pm. Full ttm but I dint know but i still have stomach for desserts realted food. 2 slice water melons and Ice Cream. Ate so so much today. Bursting!

Met up with Kaixin and headed to Far east Plaza first for lunch first bc i wanted the wanton noodle so badly! It's super tasty. My top 2 favourite wanton noodle. First try for the noodle, second try for the wanton. I want more more more!! :DD Cant wait for the next trip there.

Then we shop (okay, i window shop-ed) from FEP to Ion to Wisma to Taka to 313. Stopped @ Somerset 313, gave marvelous cream a try, had the chocolate w banana and it was nice. But slightly ex i guess. Waited for Jerlin to come and look for us before we headed to Cineleisure to the 2 of my favourite shop. Headed back to taka then to Far east to settle down for dinner @ Han's with the cheese+ Mushroom omelette which we shared. Swensen's one is better. Craving for it haha. Shopped there again before we went to ion at like 9 plus going on 10. We almost went to all the place in orchard from noon till night! Haha, but love spending time w them ♥

So this was the last day in ethnic cuisine with Chef Joyce, Chef Cynthia, the pots and pans and stove and Skills kitchen. :(( Awww. Next will be going to Sugarloaf, Baking&pastry Kitchen.
